General Conditions of Sale (GCS) | Douala Prime
Welcome to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&C) of Douala Prime. These conditions govern all orders placed on our site. By accepting them, you confirm your agreement with the terms and conditions below. We strongly encourage our customers to read this information carefully before validating any order.
1. Purpose of the GTC
These TCS define the terms under which Douala Prime processes orders placed on its e-commerce site. They apply exclusively to final consumers, i.e. individuals not acting as traders or wholesalers.
We make every effort to ensure that the information on our site is accurate and updated in real time. However, we reserve the right to modify or correct, at any time and without notice, the contents of the site, including prices or product descriptions.
2. Placing of order
When a customer places an order on our site, he is required to:
• Check product information (specifications, prices, delivery times).
• Provide accurate information for shipping and billing.
After validating the order by clicking on the "Validate" button, a confirmation email or SMS including all the details of it will be sent to the customer. It should also be noted that after the confirmation of your order, we must contact you by direct phone call for further information before initiating delivery.
3. Our offers
The products offered on our site are intended for personal use, and not for resale.
The prices displayed on our site are expressed in CFA francs and include all taxes in force, with the exception of delivery charges which are invoiced separately according to the chosen terms.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery terms
We offer several delivery options:
• Home delivery: Available only in the cities of Douala and Yaoundé. Fees are calculated based on volume and distance.
• Delivery at a pick-up point: For those who prefer to pick up their order at a partner point, this service is free and available in several locations.
• Delivery via logistics partners: For other cities, we collaborate with reliable logistics agencies.
4.2 Delivery times
The delivery times, mentioned during the order, begin to run after confirmation of payment. In case of force majeure or supply delay, we will inform the customer immediately and propose an alternative solution or a refund.
4.3 Verification at the reception
Upon delivery, the customer must check in front of the delivery person:
• The state of the products.
• The conformity of the order.
Any anomaly must be reported immediately to our customer service.
5. Payment
The payment of orders can be made by the following means:
• Cash on delivery payment (eligible cities).
• Advance payment via Mobile Money (MTN or Orange only on our official numbers indicated).
For certain specific orders (high amount, remote location), a deposit may be required before processing.
6. Returns and guarantees
The products sold on our site are covered by a warranty whose terms and conditions are specified on the product sheet and invoice issued by Douala Prime. Douala Prime may therefore decline liability for warranty coverage if the product’s defect results from improper handling or use. In case of defect or non-compliance, the returns must be reported within 03 days after receipt via our customer service.
7. Promotions and special offers Promotional offers are valid only: • During the specified duration. • Within the limit of available stocks. Douala Prime reserves the right to cancel or modify a promotional offer in case of error or abuse. 8. Responsibilities Douala Prime cannot be held responsible: • Delays or impossibilities of delivery due to exceptional circumstances or incorrect information provided by the customer. • Damage caused by agents external to the product or misuse of purchased products. 9.
